So my little gold Chevy logo fell off, so I did the simplest thing to make it look half decent again. I painted in the logo imprint. All it requires is some masking tape, a utility knife, another roolf of higher quality masking tape, denatured alcohol, goo gone extreme (or paint thinner that’s safe on plastic), and some Krylon Fusion spray paint.
1. Remove the grill piece from the car, it just pops out with some gentle pulling, make sure you don't lose the metal clips.
2. Clean the piece and remove the adhesive that was left over from the old logo if it still remains, then clean that logo area with the denatured alcohol.
3. Carefully mask off the entire grill piece with masking tape, use higher quality tape around the Chevy logo, use multiple pieces to round the corners, use a knife if needed to cut the tape into the proper shapes.

4. Clean the logo area carefully again with the alcohol, carefully do this, using too much will cause the tape to peel up.
5. Take the piece somewhere you can paint, using Krylon apply 2 – 3 coats over a few hours to make a nice high gloss paint coat. Priming is usually not necessary with Kyrlon fusion, however, if it happens to peel or crack up over time, a fine sand paper roughing and some primer will help the paint stick, clear coat can also help protect the finished work.
6. Let it dry for 24 hours
7. Carefully remove the masking tape, use the goo gone extreme with a q-tip or paper towel to clean up any spot where paint got that it should not have.

8. Carefully snap it back onto the front of your Cavalier and your done.
